Yes, aluminum half round gutters can cost up to 3 or 4 times more than k-style gutters as the pricing for the materials are much higher. The brackets alone cost around $16 each, and one bracket is needed for every two feet of gutter. Therefore an average house with 100 ft. of gutter will require about $800 worth of brackets. (50 x $16)

As a comparison k-style brackets cost about $1.50 each, so a 100 ft. house will require about $75 in brackets. (50 x $1.50) That’s a huge difference!
