TYPES OF ESTIMATES

Some estimates are able to be provided simply off of the customers details or photos. Whereas other situations may require an in-person consolation visit, or possibly a gutter system diagnostic inspection. All estimates with My Gutter Doctor are free unless setting up ladders is required.

-ESTIMATE IS PROVIDED FROM ONLINE PHOTOS

In most situations we are able to use photos available online to gather measurements and provide a quote. Gutter cleanings, gutter installations, and gutter guard installations are examples of quote types that we are typically able to provide using online images.

-MEASUREMENT VISIT

Measurement visits are for when a My Gutter Doctor technician stops by the property to gather measurements, take photos, gather the accessories count, confirm gutter color and/or size, or to gather any other details regarding the quote. During these visits the technician may examine the gutter system for apparent issues.

-IN PERSON CONSULTATION VISIT

In-person consultation visits are to discuss potential gutter repairs or installation projects with the homeowner. These are great for when the homeowner has witnessed the issues firsthand and would like to point out the locations. Or when the homeowner would like to discuss potential gutter installation or gutter cover installation projects in person.

-WOOD REPAIR ESTIMATE

Most wood repair services will require an in person estimate visit by a technician before we are able to provide a quote. In most situations we need to examine the extent of the damages, confirm the size and widths of the boards, and gather necessary measurements.

Keep in mind that fascia board quotes are only able to be provided by what we can visually see from the ground. There is always the potential for more damaged fascia boards, soffit, or roof rafters once the gutters and/or fascia boards are removed.

-GUTTER SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTION

A diagnostic inspection visit is when the homeowner needs a technician to examine the gutter system, typically from ladders, to determine what is causing the issue(s). A minimum service fee is applied to diagnostic inspections to cover the labor costs.

Keep in mind that a gutter system inspection is included for free with a standard gutter cleaning service. Therefore, if your gutters haven’t been serviced in a few seasons then you may want to consider going with a gutter cleaning service to save money on the diagnostics fee.

Excellent from estimates through installation! I knew I needed more help with my gutters than just cleaning, but I wasn’t sure which filter option to choose. I started by asking for an estimate on the My Gutter Doctor website, and while they offered an estimate for my first selection of leaf filter, they also offered their expert opinion and included links to 3rd party video demos and reviews of several leaf filter options. I ended up picking the perforated aluminum covers, plus asked them to install a section of gutter over our porch. Estimates were delivered by email super quick, with zero pressure at all, by friendly, knowledgeable reps.
