Before dealing with My Gutter Doctor I had called two other companies to address a significant issue. Both companies were a waste of time. It seems the common approach is to ignore customer complaints and push a new gutter system. High-pressure sales tactics, along with outrageous quotes, had me not feeling great about gutter companies in general. I had already had two strikeouts and wasn't sure what I was getting into by calling them.
Started an initial conversation, and our problem was unique enough that they sent someone over to look at it in person. I live in Gambrills and thought I was calling a company based in Gambrills, turns out they came all the way from Fredrick.
Office staff was good. We had an initial miscommunication, but they dealt with it promptly. Jared then came out to take a look at the problem.
Now that all the initial stuff is out of the way this is what you really need to know and this is why My Gutter Doctor will get my recommendation if anyone ever needs gutter work, installation or cleaning.
1. Jared, one of the company owners, came out and took a look at the problem we were having. Initial conversations focused only on the issue. He didn't try to sell me an entire house of gutters. I appreciated someone actually caring about the problem I was having.
2. They do quotes after they leave. This means there are no high-pressure "sign now" quotes that try to manipulate the price to get you to sign an overpriced quote. This fact alone is worth giving them a call.
3. Just for funzzies, I asked for an entire house quote. I won't tell you the prices I had or what the price was for the job but I will tell you that My Gutter Doctor was 5.8k LESS than my next lowest for an ENTIRE gutter installation with gutter guards.
4. The company arrived on time, and they worked hard when they were there. Transparency is big with me and I was allowed to look at the product and how the process worked.
The fact is that the company gives you its best price and they stand by it. Its rare in this day and age to find a company that is willing to do that. Most play games with you and try to extract as much money out of you as they can.
I appreciated the fact that they didn't spend a ton of time worrying about what other companies installed. I find that the other companies I called were very concerned with what other quotes I had and spent most of their time trying to convince me that what everyone else was doing was wrong, but they were correct despite being way overpriced.
In a world where it's hard to trust anyone, My Gutter Doctor earned our trust. We ended up hiring them to replace the entirety of our gutters. Not what we called for, but the price was so good, and our problems were significant that this really worked out for us.

My Gutter Doctors is the company you want for gutters. They were honest, hard-working, and they knew what they were doing. It's a small company that is owned by brothers, and their father works for them. They were professional, kind, and straightforward. That's about all you can ask for.
The water problems around our house were significant, and much of the issue was caused by inadequate, cheap, and poorly installed gutters. I am happy to report that, thanks to My Gutter Doctor, I don't have to worry about that anymore.
Do yourself a favor: hire these guys. Don't waste your time with companies that engage in predatory sales tactics.
