Peak Fall Season Availability
The busiest time of the year for gutter cleaning is typically the short window between leaves dropping in the fall and freezing winter temperatures. Depending on the area and weather conditions, that window is often only 5–6 weeks or less, while the majority of homeowners need to have their gutters cleaned during that same period.
Because appointment availability becomes extremely limited during peak fall season, the last week of November and the first weeks of December are primarily reserved for recurring membership customers. Pro and Premier memberships receive the highest level of recurring reserved scheduling access during periods of peak seasonal demand.

Choose annual prepayment or convenient recurring monthly, quarterly, or biannual billing options. Recurring billing options require a valid payment method to be securely saved on file for automatic payments.
3. Reserve Your Recurring Service Dates
Your recurring services are scheduled in advance to help avoid long wait times during peak gutter cleaning season.
4. Enjoy Ongoing Gutter Protection
We’ll return automatically throughout the year to help keep your gutters flowing properly and your home protected. Memberships automatically renew and services continue on schedule unless cancelled or modified by the customer. Payment schedules remain active unless updated by the customer.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP F.A.Q.’S
Does somebody need to be home for the services to take place?
No. Homeowners are not required to be present for gutter cleaning services to take place as long as our technicians have safe access to the work areas around the home.
Customers will receive reminder emails and text notifications leading up to the service date, along with notifications when our technicians are on the way and when the service has been completed. After the service, an invoice and service report with job photos will typically be emailed to the customer for review.
If any issues, damages, or recommended repairs are found during the service, our technicians will document them in the service report and may also leave a door hanger notification at the home if nobody is present during the appointment.
How is payment handled?
Membership customers may choose to pay annually up front or select recurring monthly, quarterly, or biannual billing options depending on the membership plan selected.
For recurring billing options, a valid payment method must be securely saved on file through the customer portal for automatic recurring payments based on the selected billing schedule. Memberships remain active and recurring payments continue automatically unless the membership is cancelled or modified by the customer.
Customers who choose annual prepayment will receive a single invoice for the full membership term. Third-party financing options may also be available for qualifying customers.
Is there a penalty if I need to cancel or reschedule a recurring service?
Membership customers may reschedule upcoming services when needed, although availability may vary depending on the season and schedule demand. During peak fall gutter cleaning season, rescheduling options may be more limited due to high appointment volume.
Memberships may also be cancelled at any time. However, if a membership is cancelled before the end of the selected term agreement, any discounted recurring service rates previously received may be adjusted back to the equivalent one-time service pricing for completed services. Our office staff can help review any remaining balance or membership questions if needed.
Are reminders sent before the services are to take place?
Yes. Service reminder emails are typically sent 14 days, 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day prior to each scheduled service, along with a final text reminder the day before the service. Please note that technician routes are not fully finalized until approximately one week prior to the scheduled service date, so estimated arrival windows listed on the earlier reminder emails may still change.
Customers will additionally receive notifications when our technicians are on the way and when the service has been completed, helping keep you updated throughout the entire service process even if you are not home at the time of service.
What if there are issues found with my gutter system?
If repairs, damages, or problem areas are found during the gutter cleaning service, the technician will document them in the service report and notify the customer upon completion of the service. In most cases, our technicians will also leave a door hanger with the appropriate box checked, such as “Minor Repair Issues Noted” or “Immediate Repair Issues Noted,” if nobody is home during the service.
Customers may also receive a follow-up email or call regarding any recommended repairs or concerns with the gutter system. Membership customers receive discounted rates on larger gutter repairs or additional recommended services if needed.
How many gutter cleaning services are recommended per year?
Most homes with nearby trees typically require at least 2 gutter cleaning services per year — usually one service in the spring and one in late fall after the leaves have dropped before winter weather arrives.
Homes with excessive tree coverage or large trees close to the home may require 3 or 4 services per year depending on the tree type, size, and proximity to the gutter system.
For most homeowners, we recommend beginning with a biannual membership and adjusting the service frequency over time if needed.
When does My Gutter Doctor recommend the cleanings take place?
Our office staff will help recommend the best service schedule for your home based on the types of trees around the property, the amount of debris buildup, and your gutter system’s maintenance needs. As your recurring services begin, our technicians may also recommend adjustments over time to help keep your gutter cleaning schedule as efficient and effective as possible.

Service timing may vary depending on tree type, surrounding tree coverage, weather conditions, and the amount of debris your gutter system collects throughout the year.
Will the annual cleanings repeat automatically around the same dates going forward?
Yes. Once your recurring service schedule is established, your gutter cleaning services will automatically continue around the same timeframes each year based on your selected membership schedule. This helps ensure your gutter system is cleaned during the most effective times of the year for your property and surrounding tree coverage.
As each season approaches, our office staff may make minor scheduling adjustments based on weather conditions, route efficiency, technician availability, or changing debris conditions. Customers will continue receiving reminder emails and text notifications leading up to each scheduled service date.
What if I am already enrolled in a Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, or Diamond Annual Service Plan?
Existing Annual Service Plan customers will continue receiving services under their current plan structure unless otherwise notified. Over time, previous Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, and Diamond plans may gradually transition into the new recurring gutter cleaning membership system.
Please note that previous annual service plans are no longer being offered to new customers. Our current minimum recurring membership option is biannual gutter cleaning service, which is now the minimum service frequency required to receive discounted recurring service rates and recurring reserved service dates during peak gutter cleaning season.
Previous one-time annual recurring cleaning plans, including the Sapphire Plan, are no longer available for new enrollment at this time.
